A bit of advice that I got before going to Porteño: Arrive before opening and wait outside to make sure you won't miss out on a table. No, they don't take bookings unless it's for a group of five or more. I dread standing in long queues so the food at Porteño had to be worth it. We arrived at 5:40pm and already there were two couples waiting ahead of us.
Finally at 6pm, the doors swung open. Oh, how I love the place! It was gorgeous! The main attractions were the roast suckling pig and the roast lamb. I was told to order this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
