Hi readers and fellow foodies,
Life has been so busy lately that I haven't had time to update my blog. "Life often gets in the way of blogging", I often hear many bloggers say. Thing is, I just love doing what I'm doing so here I am back with my first post for this year.
It was a lovely December evening and we were booked at Momofuku Seiobo to celebrate a very special 16th birthday. Executive Chef Paul Carmichael from Barbados, made a bold move to incorporate Caribbean with a hint of Asian flavours and it paid off. The result was a dining experience of unbelievably delicious food and exquisite presentation. We were all completely blown away. We Sydneysiders are lucky enough to have the only hatted restaurant that serves Caribbean-inspired cuisine in our city.
I have eaten in so many different places around the world and I would regard having a meal at this restaurant as one of the most impressive experiences. Chef Carmichael even took a few minutes out of his busy kitchen by coming out for a chat and a photo. He's pretty cool. There's only one word to describe our recent experience here- Wow!
