SaltVine, Surry Hills NSW

One of the reasons I chose to dine at Salt Vine was its proximity to The Entertainment Quarter where I would later watch Shakespeare's Macbeth at the Pop-up Globe. The other reason being The Fork (formerly Dimmi) was offering a special promotion: 50% discount off the total food bill. I thought, why not but honestly, I wasn't expecting to be wowed dining at Salt Vine. The dishes caught me by surprise. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. I was very impressed by the quality and its delicate blend of Middle Eastern flavours. The Baklava Dessert was delightfully enjoyable. Its crispy pastry blended really well with the pistachio ice cream however, it took a long time to arrive.
