ARIA, East Circular Quay

We decided to mark J's special milestone birthday at Aria. We had the seasonal tasting menu- with matching wines for the celebrant.




The stunning views of  the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House in front of us as we dine.


The ambience couldn't have been more perfect.

Amuse Bouche, Cauliflower Soup

six freshly shucked Pacific oysters with citrus pearls, pink grapefruit and cucumber




cured New Zealand salmon with kombu and Earl Grey tea, yuzu tapioca and avocado purée



chicken and foie gras parfait with a salad of smoked duck, rhubarb and black pepper



Truffled potato mash, certainly the best I've ever tasted.
