The Baron, Castle Hill

There's been a string of hip cafes and restaurants opening in Western Sydney in the recent months.
The Baron in the Hills District being one of them.
It's a charming cafe that's full of character. Service is friendly and food definitely fabulous.
Tonight, they served their last dinner. It's a shame because what we had was delicious.
They are now only open for breakfast and lunch.

Pan fried chorizo with coriander, tomato and lime

Jamon salad with fig, peach, toasted almonds and red wine vinegar

"Quarter chicken in chips" seared lemon thyme chicken with triple cooked chips and home-style gravy

Southern-style BBQ pulled pork sliders with coriander and pineapple salsa

  1. I do love The Baron & it's a shame they don't do their dinners at the moment. The do occasionally have pop-up dinners though so keep your eyes peeled.
