Day Trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima, Japan

Hiroshima Peace Memorial, commonly known as the Atomic Bomb Dome.
It lies within the Peace Memorial Park close to the hypocenter of the bomb.


Red ball marks the site of the mid-air detonation
of the atomic bomb over Hiroshima.


A lunch box and child's tricycle were burnt due to the Atomic bomb.



Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who died of radiation poisoning believed that folding a
 thousand paper cranes will make her wish come true. 
The paper crane symbolizing peace has spread around the world 
through the story of Sadako.

because they are considered messengers of the gods.
