Bistro Officina, Bowral

If you love shopping, eating, relaxing or taking pleasure in spending time walking around, Bowral is the perfect town to visit and it's easy to see why. Here you'll find quaint and quirky little boutique shops and cafes, enchanting gardens and parks, fantastic restaurants and dozens of vineyards and cellar doors surrounding the town. The old world country charm atmosphere and the variety of wonderful things to do will keep you coming back time and again.
This visit, we celebrated my birthday at Bistro Officina. It's a lovely and peaceful place adjoining the Berida Manor Hotel with ample parking space on the grounds and it's located not too far from the centre of town. I love the open light space which allows heaps of natural light into the dining areas. This beautiful place is perfect for families, small group of friends or a special occasion. We had a beautiful eight course tasting menu that highlighted seasonal ingredients cooked in wood ovens or grilled over charcoal. Incredible local food, great venue, excellent service and every aspect fantastic. This place is an absolute gem in the Highlands. Great food, great value.
