Nomad, Surry Hills

One of Sydney's coolest suburbs,
Surry Hills is known for its hip cafes, trendy shops, great restaurants and bars.
We dined at Nomad in Surry Hills on my husband's birthday.
I love its interior with its large open space and warehouse-style character.
The dishes with strong Mediterranean flavours were all deliciously unique.
They did win a coveted one hat status a few months after we dined,
very much well-deserved.

Nomad Pickles and Olives

Deep fried Green Chilli Peppers with Cheese
These were really, really good! Not spicy at all!

Nomad Charcuterie - a selection of Beef Cheeks, Chorizo, Ox Heart, Lardo and Mortadella

Nomad Jersey Milk Haloumi with BBQ Zucchini, Pine Nuts & Raisins
This was our favourite. The flavours were fantastic!

Ocean Trout

BBQ Dutch Carrots with Almond Dukkah and Labne

BBQ Lamb Rump with Moroccan Eggplant Salad and Sheep's Yoghurt

Nomad Doughnut and Cardamon Cream
Sounds yummy right?
