Grandma's, Rosebery

Delicious dishes and traditional recipes inspired by Grandmas all over the world is what's being served here
but one dish in particular has caught my fancy and it is called Shakshuka.
So what is Shakshuka or Shakshouka? The word means "all mixed up" in Hebrew and Arabic.
It is a very popular Israeli breakfast dish of eggs poached in sauce of tomatoes, capsicums and
cumin served in a frying pan at the table.
It tastes even better accompanied by pita or crusty bread.

There's really nothing like the pleasures of hearty, delicious comfort food they serve here.
Worth a visit!

In the meantime, here is another version of the recipe by Gordon Ramsay
that I made called "North African Eggs".  (click here)
It it by far the most popular post I have on my blog.
